Who Wins for Best Technology and User Experience? Simply Hired!

Recognition always feels good, whether it’s a simple thank you note, testimonial or bonus. The ultimate in recognition is judged award contests. That’s why every year millions tune in to view major awards ceremonies like the Grammys and Oscars.

While job search websites don’t get the opportunity to wear tuxedos and fancy dresses, we do have our own contests. In 2013 and 2014 our award roster included PC Magazine’s “Best Job Search Website” award and a spot on the Forbes “Best 100 Career Websites List.”

This year we’re proud to add two new awards to our roster: a bronze Brandon Hall award for “Best Advance in Unique Talent Acquisition Technology” and the Weddle “Users Choice Award.”

The Brandon Hall award for talent acquisition technology is based on design of the solution, functionality, usability, innovation and overall measurable benefits. Brandon Hall is considered the “Academy Awards” of the learning and talent industry, which puts us in good company. Other winners in our category include innovative technology solutions Jobvite (recruiting software) and Montage (video interviewing).

The Weddle User’s Choice Award is based on the voting of job seekers and recruiters, placing us in the top 30 of the 60,000 sites operated by members of the International Association of Employment Web Sites (IAWES).

For us, winning both a judged and user’s choice award is true recognition of our ongoing effort to satisfy job seekers and employers alike. While everyone in our office won’t be decked out in formal wear on awards day, please join me in congratulating our team for a job well done.
