If you’ve been in the hiring, recruiting or related space you know the importance of developing quality talent from the end. Few things can have a greater impact on a company’s workforce than the ability to hire young graduates then train and promote from within. The company and brand loyalty, familiarity with business, and excitement that is built from a “lifer” are hard if not impossible to match.
With that in mind, Simply Hired recently profiled a team of new graduates over the course of their first year. We shadowed their training and daily tasks and checked in often on their progress. What we gained was a valuable insight into how to best attract, onboard, assimilate, and retain new grads during their first year and beyond.
