1. Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Were you laid off or let go? Did you leave your last role of your own accord but are struggling to find your next opportunity? If you’ve been out of work for an extended period of time it can be easy to begin to look upon your last job with rose-colored glasses. When you start to feel that nostalgia take over, take a deep breath and remind yourself of the facts behind your departure. Try writing a list of the pros and cons of your last position and focus on the opportunity you have in front of you. You can now find a job that you truly love.
2. There are plenty of fish in the sea
Job search can be a grueling and exhausting process, particularly if you’re waiting to hear back from companies where you’ve applied or interviewed. Don’t despair. 3. The course of true love never did run smooth

You’ve been looking for a job for a while, and after a few interviews with a new company you think you’ve found your dream job. Stop. Slow down. Try to maintain a balanced view of your new love. Don’t rush into things. Love should never be blind, especially when it comes to the love of a new job that you haven’t gotten yet. It’s important to know exactly what you’re signing up for when accepting a position so that you aren’t disappointed.
