Simply Hired today released its October 2013 U.S. Employment Outlook report, which shows that nationwide job openings increased 6.9% month-over-month and 35% year-over-year in September 2013. Nearly all major metros (49 of 50) posted an increase in job openings, and 16 of 18 industries also experienced growth.
“Our September data shows that job growth remains strong as we move into fall,” said James Beriker, president and CEO of Simply Hired. “This is a very positive signal that the recovery is across geographies and segments – and not isolated in specific regions or job segments.”
