CNNMoney / FORTUNE released their 2011 Fortune 500 list, where Wal-Mart, Exxon Mobil and Chevron defended their titles as the top three on the list of Fortune 500 companies. ConocoPhillips moved up to number four from six last year, and Fannie Mae, Berkshire Hathaway and General Motors moved up into the top ten list.
The top 10 companies on the Fortune 500 this year include:
- Wal-Mart Stores
- Exxon Mobil
- Chevron
- ConocoPhillips
- Fannie Mae
- General Electric
- Berkshire Hathaway
- General Motors
- Bank of America Corp.
- Ford Motor

CNNMoney / FORTUNE also released a They're Hiring list, which details the companies on the Fortune 500 that are currently hiring at least 350 new employees, including J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Best Buy, and General Electric.
