Lucky for you, Simply Hired is all about finding you that exact job you’re looking for. To look for specific companies or job titles (and make all your dreams come true), there are a couple of search terms that you can use.
To look for jobs at a specific company, type in “company:” followed by the name of the company. If the company name is more than one word, put the company name in quotes. For example, to search jobs at Time Warner type in:
Keep in mind that this will search will search for the terms you specify that are within the company name. A search for "company:Target" will not only pull jobs from Target stores, but from Target Labs and On Target Staffing.
If you’re looking for a job with a certain title, type in “title:” followed by the job title. Again, if the title is more than one word, put it in quotes. So searching for sales manager jobs would look like this:
Like before, any title: search pulls listings containing your search terms within the job title. This "sales manager" search will also pull regional sales manager and retail sales manger positions, because "sales manager" is within the title.
Mix & Match
If you want to get really fancy, you can use both search terms. For sales manager jobs at Walt Disney Company, type the following into the keywords box: company:“Walt Disney Company” title: “sales manager”
Once you’ve tailored your results to find the jobs you’re looking for, why don’t you sign up for email alerts? Just click on the “Get email alerts for this search” link at the top or bottom of your search results page, enter your email address, and click Submit.
Side note: If you just type in the company or title into the keywords box without using “company:” or “title:”, your search will pull job listings that use those words wherever they appear in the listing: the title, company name, or even within the job description.
