Last week we launched 2 features which I am especially excited about.
Bettah Search. Over the past month, our engineers have been hard at work. They yanked the engine, pulled it apart and rebuilt it. And once they were done with the '67 Shelby, they did the same for our search. We took your detailed feedback, analyzed how you search for a job, and then proceeded to rebuild our search engine. While the Shelby never recovered from their tampering, our job search is better than before. At least we think so, but we need to hear from you.
Do You Know the Way to San Jose? Well you do now. Job Maps is a great way to compare job openings by location, calculate commutes, and check out the neighborhood.
Step 1: Map It!
By clicking on the Map It link, you add the job to your list of mapped jobs. Add a few jobs to your map, conduct a new search, and then add a few more.

Step 2: View Your List
We have finally made use of that nice blue bar that extends across the top of the pages. You will now see a "Mapped Jobs" list, which contains a summary of all the jobs you wish to see on a map. (YES! You can see multiple jobs on the same map!)

Step 3: View Your Map
Clicking on any of the "Mapped" links or the "View Map" button will take you to your very own custom Job Map. This map is powered by the Google Maps API, so you get all the bells and whistles, including their clever "Hybrid" maps.

Step 4: Add Your Home Address
You have the option of adding your home or any starting address to the map. We then add estimated distances from the home address for every job listed on your Maps page. Neat, huh?

Check it out, and enjoy. As always, compliments, comments and critiques are welcome.
